LGA Big Break

Sunday March 1st

The Big Break is our kick-off to the 2026 LGA tournament season.  This is a team event and one of the MOST FUN events of the year.  The event includes lunch, prizes and an LGA Membership meeting following the competition.

CALGA at RiverTowne

RiverTowne/Dunes West Challenge

Monday & Tuesday May 4th & 5th

The Tournament will be played on Monday May 4th at RiverTowne and Tuesday May 5th at Dunes West followed by a luncheon.

LGA Member Member

May 17th

We've already competed against our sisters at Dunes West in the Two Day Tournament, so now it's time to take down Snee Farm and bring the Sweetgrass Trophy back to RiverTowne. Two LGAs battling it out on the greens and in the fairways, this is a great day of golf! Two lady team format, excellent for all levels of play. Come be a part of it all.

LGA Sweetgrass Tournament Cup

September 25th At Snee Farm

We've already competed against our sisters at Dunes West in the Two Day Tournament, so now it's time to take down Snee Farm and bring the Sweetgrass Trophy back to RiverTowne. Two LGAs battling it out on the greens and in the fairways, this is a great day of golf! Two lady team format, excellent for all levels of play. Come be a part of it all.

LGA Match Play Championship

September TBD

50% ability, 50% mental toughness; Match Play is why we are glued to the TV every four years to watch the Ryder Cup! In our 2nd major of the year, you'll go head to head, progressing bracket playoff style, until someone is crowned the LGA Match Play Champion. This is great for players who routinely play 18 holes (or more, potentially) and recommended for those that will be able to play a few matches over the course of the summer. It's a net handicap event and Palmer Points are awarded.

LGA Team Match Play

October TBD

We're going to do it again! We're proud to bring you another year of Team Match Play! You & your partner will compete against other two-person teams in a net format to progress through three rounds in hopes to being crowned our champs! This format is a great way to learn or hone your match play skills. A little bit skill, a little bit luck, a little bit mental fortitude is all it takes to compete for the title.

LGA Member - Guest Tournament

GOLF delayed until Nov 9th

Our main event! Two person teams made up of one LGA member and one guest. This fun, themed event is open to all members and is our final major of the year. Festivities kick off the day before with a shotgun practice round and an evening filled with putting contest, costumes, and cocktails. The day of will be a shotgun start and meant for players of all levels. Bring your BFF and join the party in this, our third major tournament with Palmer Points awarded.

RTCC Club Championship

Rescheduled!! Nov 1st and 2nd

Open to all RTCC members. Individual stroke play. You'll be flighted with other LGA players. This is a two day, competitive event and our 3rd major tournament of the year. Palmer Points are awarded and it's played in rain or shine (anything less than hurricane, it's on). Recommended for those that can tolerate the August heat, two days of back to back play and know that most take this tournament quite seriously. There's bragging rights and a parking spot on the line for the winner!

RTCC Chapman Tournament

Cancelled

Open to all RTCC members with Palmer Points awarded. The Chapman is a two person, team event that is competitive and challenging. You will have a unique mixture of scramble & alternate shot in this format. Recommended for players with the ability to be resourceful, have strong course management and can get themselves out of trouble! Lunch and awards follow this shotgun start event in the clubhouse.

LGA Year End Tournament

TBD

Closing out the season is our LGA Year End Scramble. This 9 hole scramble is a classic shotgun start, captain's choice format that's great for all levels of play.

LGA Semi Annual Member Meeting & Brunch

TBD

Immediately following the conclusion of the LGA Year End Scramble is our member meeting and brunch. We'll wrap up the season, award prizes, share information about leagues, partner associations, 2026 calendar or events, any amendments & proposed changes to bylaws and 2026 Board of Director election results as well as introduce new members into our community.
